This house, now located at 940 Forest Avenue, served as the original Christ Church Rectory. The Rectory was located at the site of the stone Rectory on Sharon Avenue. This house was moved to its current site in 1903. During a renovation in 1990 a fire caused considerable damage, but the building was restored to its original appearance. The architectural firm for the restoration was Addison Clipson Associated Architects, Inc. The original architects were Frank Furness and George Palliser.
