Harry Neill Wilson Son Of James K. Wilson
Not much is known about Harry Neill Wilson, but we can surmise he was James K. Wilson’s son. Harry designed several prominent buildings in Glendale, including the Police Station (the oldest continuously occupied police station in the state), and a fine Richardsonian Romanesque house for William C. Procter. Published in American Architect & Building News in 1889, it was torn down in the 1970s. Fortunately, his refined Romanesque Glendale Lyceum, a private library and social club on Congress Avenue, remains as one of our pivotal buildings. He is also known to have designed two homes in Lenox, Massachusetts, a fashionable resort town, in 1888 and 1893.
