In September 2009 the Village of Glendale purchased the Eckstein School property at auction from the Princeton School District. This acquisition, discussions about future uses for the building, and the design process for the Ohio Historical Marker, which will be displayed outside the building, have many local residents asking about the Eckstein School and its history.
