The Warwick Glenn Harkness House is also known as Glen Gables. Located at 985 Laurel Avenue, this Pivotal Structure incorporates one of Glendale’s earliest structures, a loghouse built in 1830. Built by Robert Warrick, the property was sold to Edmund R. Glenn, Glendale’s namesake, in 1835. Repeated enlargements and remodelings gave the house a cross-gabled appearance by 1860 and the present Queen Anne by the 1880s.
